Make Me Look Fabulous. You may not be saying that out loud but lets face it you want to look your best on your wedding day. You especially want to look your best in those enduring photographs. So how do you communicate that to your photographer without appearing to be a raving narcissist? Well, just be honest. We have worked with many clients who would never want to admit their shortcomings. But we all have them. In fact most of the “beautiful people” will admit to flaws they try to hide. And with the help of talented makeup artists, photographers and retouchers they manage that “beauty” quite well thank you! Your photographer knows you want to look your best. You want to look your best. But how do you know that you are both on the same page? Well you must be willing to talk about those things that bother you the most. Perhaps you think your nose is too big or misshapen. Maybe its your thighs or you have one too many wrinkles or… What ever it is that bothers you, must be shared so that your photographer has a chance to work with what you feel are your limitations. This discussion will give them the opportunity to turn your weaknesses into strengths. Professional photographers are trained to see the entire you and will begin looking at strengths and weaknesses the moment you meet. There is a danger though that their interpretation may not match you vision of your self. That’s why it is so important to speak up and share what you think are your weaknesses so that it becomes and item you and your photographer together, work to correct. Your photographs are going to be around for a long time, so don’t be shy. Share how you feel about yourself so that the professional you hire has the best chance to help you look great on your wedding day. But remember what counts the most is your confidence. Nothing shines like confidence. And when you share your secrets with your photographer your confidence will have no bounds and you truly will look fabulous on your wedding day. Wishing you the Best!
