Uplighting At Your Event

The new trend in lighting is to not just fly lights on an overhead truss or T-bar system.  This is what you'd see at most concerts or clubs.  With our upscale events, we've been doing what we call up-lighting.  Instead of lights that just beam down on the dance floor, we can spread our lights out more evenly throughout the room and cast color and interest throughout the room.  We can paint the ceiling with moving colors and shapes, project gobo/images onto walls and ceilings and splash color on pillars and recessed ceilings.  The room takes on a completely different feel.

Imagine a stark white room and then compare that to a room where pillars of blue light beam up columns around the outside of the room.  The colors can be stationary (not changing) or we can set them to slowly fade between colors through the spectrum.  Want to be more creative, we can connect these lights wirelessly or via wire and control their color remotely.  Your room can change shade based on the activities going on.  Cutting the cake?  The room turns pink.  During your introductions, the room fades to a pale blue.  Dancing?  The room comes alive with pulsating lights throughout.  The options are endless.  Technology and LED lighting can create a rainbow of possibilities.  Of course, based on the complexity, price will fluctuate as well.

We can even put lighting under special tables (Parents, Cake, Head Table) or for all your guest tables to bring a unique glow to the entire room.  Talk to your DJ and members of the DJ Network and discuss the options available to you for your next event.
