Time for
Photography
Your wedding day is 24
hours or 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds short. Why short? Because it is
divided by a million things to accomplish!
By now you should know
them by heart but if not you soon will. That morning you’ll be busy with
things like hair, makeup, getting dressed, eating. That’s right. Don’t
forget eating and photography at the house. These and many, many other
items are all part of the time allotment puzzle.

Dessert Only
Wedding Reception Ideas
By
Jeffry Evans
With the rising costs of
weddings every year, couples everywhere are trying to find ways to
extend their budget while still planning a wedding and reception of
their dreams. Many couples are starting to use other themes for their
wedding receptions instead of serving a large dinner, or a cake and
punch reception only, and the ideas are getting more and more creative.
A dessert reception theme is starting to take off. You may have looked
into it without knowing where to start or what to serve. Here are some
of the most popular ideas for desserts in your dessert only reception.
You can choose to implement only one of these ideas, or several for more
variety so that everyone can have their favorite.

Honeymoon Travel Tips
As your wedding day
approaches, so does your long-awaited honeymoon. Finally, no more
guests and no more planning, just the two of you alone in a romantic
getaway. Below is a list of items you may need to help prevent some
potential mishaps:
Passport and visas
if you are traveling overseas - make sure you have applied for these
items far in advance. Remember that security is now extremely tight and
unyielding. While you are on your vacation, keep your passport and visas
in a safe location, so you won't run into any complications during your
return trip.

Central Park Prank
This is a prank on a "grand" scale. Over 200 people gathered at Grand
Central Station in New York to pull off a 'frozen in place' act. The
on looking travelers who weren't part of the act were mystified as to
what was going on.
CHECK IT OUT
Ipod DJ Story
We had the unique
experience the other weekend to be hired to do a large light show for
a local college. They had already hired a local DJ, but just
wanted our club lighting and laser light show. I was able to sit
and watch the other DJ perform. Perform is not really the word
one should use in this context. He was an Ipod DJ. All of
his music was on a couple Ipods. The problem is that he was
playing consecutive songs off of the same Ipod, so as one song came to
an end and the dance floor lost it's momentum, he'd press play on his
Ipod and out would jump another song. There were no subtle
blending of songs, no beat matching, not even a simple cross fade from
one song to the next. It was abrupt and disrupting to the energy
on the dance floor.
Make sure you know what
you're getting when you look to hiring entertainment. Just so
you know, this college kid also has been doing weddings for years with
some other company out near Worcester. He is not a registered DJ
Network member.
