Area's Largest One Day Bridal Event Coming to the MassMutual Center

Upcoming bridal event showcases the area’s best wedding professionals and a big Bridal Gown Sale.

Springfield, MA –November 15, 2009 -- Mark your calendar for the area's largest one day fall bridal show, The Western New England Fall Bridal Show on Sunday, November 15, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.    The show will bring together more than 100 wedding professionals, products and services for the area’s largest one-day fall bridal event.  To start the day off, an early bird One Day Bridal Gown Sale will take place beginning at 10:30am with gowns from some of the top designers starting at just $199 each.   “The amazing bridal gown sale always gets brides excited about this show,” said Lisa Powers, producer of the event.   Also the first 100 brides through the door will receive a gift certificate for free matching wedding bands worth $600!  "Brides have been calling and emailing us for information on the wedding band giveaway!  It's very exciting," says Powers. 

Throughout the day, guests will enjoy food and cake samples, plus live entertainment.  Select musical solo and duos will fill the pre-function space with music. The CJC Events stage will also host the areas most exciting bridal fashion shows at 1:00 pm and 3:00pm as Bancroft Bridals of Agawam highlights the latest in formal wear for the entire wedding party.

"Even with the ups and downs of the economy, brides and grooms are still planning weddings," says Powers.  "They may be working within a tighter budget or define their budget towards the more important aspects of their wedding, but they always enjoy attending an exciting bridal show during the planning process," says Powers.  "A bridal show gives them the hands on comparison shopping under one roof for one fun filled day."

To add another level of excitement, this November's bridal event features the addition of The Tabletop Design Gallery and Competition.  This addition showcases the decorating talent of some of the area's finest wedding services, venues, florists and coordinators by providing space to show off their talents.

The day closes with the final highlight of prizes to be given away, including a wonderful Sandals Honeymoon giveaway sponsored by Exclusively Honeymoons. Brides can register to win thousands of dollars in door prizes provided by the areas finest wedding professionals. Participants must be present at the drawing to win. Tickets are available at the door for $7.00 each or online, in advance, for $5.00 each.
